LEEM/LSS' Strainers are manufactured with hinged closures and horizontal T-bolts for easy opening and quick access to baskets. The duplex strainer shown above is designed for applications involving flow that cannot be shut down to service the strainer. By utilizing two inline butterfly valves (for bubble-tight shut off) connected by a gear driven chain linkage, flow is diverted back and forth between each basket strainer. These systems are offered in a variety of stainless steels and most alloys, along with an optional fully automatic backwash system with isolated control panels.
